Introduction to Finance & Accounting for Ambulatory Surgery Centers

Introduction to Finance & Accounting for Ambulatory Surgery Centers

Understanding the ASC Conditions for Coverage and the Interpretive Guidelines is critical for all leaders and staff in Ambulatory Surgery Centers. This virtual conference is the first comprehensive program to provide a broad overview of the regulations and guidelines that ASCs must follow to maintain their Medicare Certification as an Ambulatory Surgical Center. Building on our highly successful Bootcamps, Infection Control Conferences and Credentialing Conference, the ASC Conditions for Coverage and Interpretative Guidelines Conference will be presented in our unique interactive format with multiple speakers and audience interaction. Our conferences are not like webinars, they are as close to a live in-person conference as possible in a virtual environment.

At the end of this conference, attendees will understand:

  • The Regulatory Environment of Ambulatory Surgery Centers
  • The Medicare Regulations that an ASC must follow to maintain Medicare Certification as an Ambulatory Surgical Center
  • The guidance provided to surveyors who survey ambulatory surgery centers during initial and recertification surveys and deemed status surveys
  • How CMS certification surveys are conducted and what surveyors review to assess compliance with the Conditions for Coverage and the Interpretive Guidelines
  • How to prepare for CMS Surveys

Attendees will receive slides for all presentations, links to the Conditions for Coverage, a copy of the current Interpretive Guidelines and access to a recording of the Conference for six months after the live event.
